If a member may be eligible for multiple classes, how is the membership class determined?
The appropriate membership class is determined by the primary business purpose of the member's relationship with REISA. For example, a principal of a sponsor who is also a licensed registered representative, and who is primarily a member of REISA to market, promote or solicit for the benefit of the sponsor, is defined as a sponsor member. Members are expected to select their classification ethically and not circumvent the intent of the classes for their own financial or other benefit. Contact for clarification.
