Rick Murphy
Rick started with Berthel Fisher in 1995 as Director of Sales & Marketing for its equipment finance subsidiary. He was responsible for the placement of over $65MM of investor equity / bank loans in equipment leases including telecom, computer, agricultural equipment, and energy efficiency programs. In addition to his duties overseeing finance originations, workouts, credit, and lender relations, in 2007, Murphy was promoted to Vice President, Syndicate Mgr. of Berthel Fisher & Company Financial Services, Inc., providing due diligence, and product promotion for Alternative Investment offerings including REITs, oil and gas programs, real estate, and investment banking offerings for the broker/dealer. In January 2008, he was promoted to Sr. Vice President and is a member of the executive management team at Berthel Fisher & Company Financial Services, Inc. In October 2009, Murphy was named Executive Vice President of the broker/dealer and oversees Business Development, Managed Money Dept., and the Insurance Dept. for the broker/dealer. He reports directly to the CEO Tom Berthel. He holds his FINRA securities licenses 7, 24 and 66.
