NGAS is an independent exploration and production company focused on unconventional natural gas basins in the United States that support repeatable drilling opportunities, principally in the southern portion of the Appalachian Basin. The Company specializes in generating its own geological prospects in this region, where it has established expertise and recognition.
NGAS, through its subsidiary Daugherty Petroleum, Inc., has, since 1996, sponsored 38 limited partnership oil and gas drilling programs, which provide significant tax advantages and monthly distributions to accredited investors. NGAS operates over 658 miles of gas gathering pipeline and over 1,400 oil and gas wells located primarily in its core area, the southern Appalachian Basin, but also includes wells in the Arkoma Basin, and the Illinois Basin. Through its management’s expertise, NGAS has also acquired approximately 400,000 acres of prospects.
